Our Process

Operationally Driven Site Execution

At Landcraft, we follow a clear, compliant, and systematic process designed to integrate smoothly with main contractor programmes, CDM procedures, and commercial delivery targets. Our approach prioritises controlled mobilisation, early technical coordination, and clear communication across all stakeholders. Pre-start planning establishes sequencing, access, logistics, and interface requirements before works commence. Installation is managed through structured supervision, inspection checkpoints, and programme monitoring to maintain quality and momentum.

Ongoing liaison supports live-site safety, operational continuity, and timely issue resolution. Completion is governed through verification, documentation, and structured handover, ensuring assets are delivered safely, accurately, and ready for operation. Post-completion support provides reassurance, responsiveness, and continuity aligned with contractual obligations and performance expectations nationwide delivery.

1. Tender & Site Familiarisation

We begin by reviewing the tender documentation, site constraints, and project programme to understand your delivery goals and performance criteria. Early-stage engagement ensures we can align method statements, phasing, and sequencing with the broader construction plan.

  • Tender review and scope confirmation
  • Site access and logistics assessment
  • Clarification of drawings, tolerances, and technical constraints
  • Risk, interface, and compliance considerations raised early

We liaise directly with estimators, contracts managers, and client teams to reduce ambiguity and support early-stage coordination.

2. Pre-Start Coordination & Procurement

Once appointed, we develop a mobilisation plan that reflects your programme, site conditions, and lead-in periods. This includes procurement scheduling, documentation submission, and early involvement in stakeholder or design meetings as required.

  • Pre-start RAMS, method statements, and permit coordination
  • Programme alignment with sectional handovers or phased areas
  • Material sourcing from approved or project-specified suppliers
  • Subcontractor vetting and specialist service integration (e.g. SuDS, tree planting, play equipment)

All site activity is supported by clear documentation and proactive liaison with site teams and external consultants.

3. On-Site Delivery & Installation

Works are delivered by our in-house team and trusted subcontractors, under the supervision of a site supervisor or foreperson with responsibility for quality, safety, and coordination. We maintain a professional on-site presence and adapt to live site changes in real-time.

  • Daily briefings, toolbox talks, and safety monitoring
  • Staged installation with impact minimisation on other trades
  • Material tracking, waste control, and environmental standards
  • Real-time progress updates and change management reporting

We follow agreed site protocols, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and deliver to specification without requiring repeated oversight.

4. Handover, Snagging & Aftercare

Our process includes a structured close-out phase, including final inspections, defect rectification, and optional ongoing maintenance. We ensure that the completed landscape is fit for purpose — both for sign-off and long-term use.

  • Site sign-off and completion certification
  • Defects period support and reactive repair as needed
  • Optional grounds maintenance or establishment care
  • Handover of O&M manuals, product specs, and maintenance guidance

We help clients transition from build phase to operational use without disruption or risk to softworks performance.
