Documentation & Technical Assurance

Providing Audit-Ready Landscape Information

In regulated environments, installed works must be defensible against approved documentation. Planning authorities, ecological consultees, building control, and principal contractors increasingly require evidence that landscape installation reflects consented detail.
Documentation failure can delay condition discharge, trigger re-submission requests, or undermine final inspection.

At Landcraft, we structure documentation to support technical verification. Hard and soft landscape drawings, planting schedules, material specifications, SuDS detailing, maintenance frameworks, and O&M manuals are coordinated with approved submissions and updated where revisions occur.

Version control and drawing alignment are critical. Inconsistencies between architectural GA drawings, drainage layouts, and landscape plans can lead to installation errors that are difficult to rectify post-completion. We manage these coordination points proactively.

Where required, we assist in assembling condition discharge submissions, including evidence of species compliance, permeability confirmation, habitat alignment with metric calculations, and installation verification.

Post-completion documentation is equally important. Biodiversity Net Gain commitments, SuDS maintenance regimes, and access compliance obligations often extend beyond practical completion. We provide structured handover information to support ongoing compliance and reduce future liability exposure.

Documentation is not an administrative exercise — it is an audit defence mechanism.
